Project Eden was the centerpiece of the Asian providence, in a vain attempt to regain control of the United Earth Senate.
The project's basis was that of expansion. For over a century humankind had been stagnating within our own solar system. Project Eden's goal was to jumpstart an interest of galactic expansion.
The project consisted of two massive colony ships; Marathon and Sumeria. Both ships were to head for different potential solar systems. Marathon was created on schedule over Mars, however this drained most of our resources, and consequently Sumeria was redesigned and shorthanded. The finished Sumeria was only half the size of Marathon. Sumeria left Earth Drydock1 five years after the departure of Marathon.
